Social Security Disability Help, When You Need It
Meet Attorney Randy Walton
Randy Walton is the founder and principal attorney of Walton Law, LLC. Randy has practiced law in south Alabama since 1989, and over the last 15 years he has devoted his practice almost exclusively to representing individuals in Social Security Disability (SSD) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claims. During that time, he has helped thousands of individuals through the process of pursuing and ultimately receiving much-needed disability benefits.
Randy was born in Hampton, Virginia, and earned his B.A. degree from James Madison University in 1984. In 1987, he graduated from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham. After law school, he served a clerkship with the Honorable Richard Kellam, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Randy and his family have lived on the Eastern Shore in Baldwin County, Alabama since 1989 and now call Fairhope home. When not practicing law, Randy enjoys racing in triathlons throughout the country and has completed over 50 races.
Randy is a member of the West Virginia and Alabama State Bar Associations, the Mobile and Baldwin County Bar Associations, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, and is on the Alabama State Court Mediation roster through the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution.
You Have Choices When Deciding On a Disability Attorney
The fee charged by a social security disability attorney is the same whether you hire a local attorney who knows you personally, an attorney from far away whom you never meet until the day of your hearing or some representative who isn’t even licensed to practice law.
Why not choose an attorney who is here when you need him, who takes the time to get to know you, and whom you can count on to meet with you and speak with you whenever you have a question about your claim? Walton Law is standing by to guide you through the process.
Unlike other law firms, you do not have to wait until your claim has been denied to contact us for help. We want you to get started right away so that you can get your benefits as soon as possible. If you need help with the process of filing your initial application, we are glad to help. If you have questions about your claim, have a hearing coming up, or have any other concerns, we want you to call.
Don’t Stress Over the Decision to Apply for Benefits. We Can Help
Sometimes people who have become disabled and cannot work are reluctant to apply for Social Security because they want to be self-reliant and not dependent on government “handouts.” What is important to understand about Social Security is that it is an insurance-based system. In fact, the full name of the Social Security Disability program is Social Security Disability Insurance or SSDI.
Walton Law LLC is here to advise you of your rights. You worked hard all your life and paid into this system, paying your “premiums” through mandatory payroll deductions and income withholding. SSD is supposed to be here for you when you need it, and you should not hesitate to apply for the benefits that rightfully belong to you, or to fight for them when your application is denied.
